  • I represented a father and was able to obtain joint custody and a nearly equal access schedule for him and his two year old daughter after a seven day trial. (Madott v. Macorig, 2010 ONSC 5458 (Ont. S.C.J) (CanLII)) cited by 19 cases.
  • I represented a wife and was able to obtain a spousal support order for her on a motion of $15,000 per month even in the face of a waiver of support in a marriage contract. (Denofrio v. Denofrio, 2009 CanLII 41354 (Ont. SC)) cited by 10 cases.
  • I represented a husband and was able to obtain an Order to dispense with the wife’s consent to sell jointly owned property after the wife refused to cooperate with the sale.
  • I represented a father who was being pursued by the Family Responsibility Office for support arrears and was able to terminate his child support obligations on a motion and reinstate his driver’s licence and passport.
  • I represented a husband and was able to terminate his spousal support payments based on a material change in circumstances, despite the wife disputing the change.
  • I represented a mother and was able to obtain child support for her disabled daughter after the father refused to pay. (D.W.L.  v. M.L. 2016 ONSC 3413 (Ont. S.C.J.))
  • I represented a mother and we were able to obtain for her a very large settlement of retroactive child support after her husband refused to pay for the children’s post-secondary expenses.
  • I represented a father and was able to terminate his child support and obtain an Order that the mother reimburse him for overpayments of support.
  • I represented a father and obtained access for the father to his son whom he had not seen in 14 years.
  • I represented a wife and was able to reinstate her spousal support on appeal after it was terminated. (Hickey v. Princ, 2015 ONSC 5596) (CanLII) Divisional Court – cited by 36 cases.

 

  • I represented a father where the mother was found to be alienating the child and obtained a reversal of custody to him on interim motion with very limited access to the mother due to her conduct and in the best interests of the child (I.S. v. T.C. 2020 ONSC 3966 (CanLII) and I.S. v. T.C. 2020 ONSC 4929 (CanLII) Ont. S.C.J.)
